Definitions

HSLWC (abbr. high-strength lightweight concrete) is kind of concrete which has highest strength characteristics and lowest average density. The high-strength lightweight concretes is called concretes with specific strength Rsp more than 25 MPa.

Specific strength (Rsp) is ratio of compressive strength Rcom to relative density of the material (ratio of concrete average density to the true density of water).

    the concrete has average density 1300-1500 kg/m3 that representing almost half of the traditional heavy concrete.

    Rcom MORE THAN B45

    compressive strength of the concrete can reach 60-70 MPa and specific strength not less than 35-40 MPa.

    POROSITY FROM 33%

    the concrete structure is saturated with gas phase (total porosity - 33-38% where closed pores are 32-36% and opened pores are 1-2%.
  • 2-4 TIMES WARMER

    the concrete has higher thermophysical properties and 2-4 times best the insulating capacity.

    F300 FROST CYCLES

    the concrete has low open porosity and water absorption that create the conditions for increasing of frost resistance  up to F300.

    25% MORE EFFICIENT

    unique operational properties provide high economic efficiency (more than 30%)  during construction and operation.

  2. Director of the State Corporation "Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies", Chairman of the Board of "RUSNANO" Anatoly Chubais has invited developers to cooperate (more in Russian);
  3. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has invited authors of development to meet at the exhibition dedicated to the Day of Russian Science. He has praised the work and wished them success in the commercialization of new high-tech product in construction (More in Russian);
